SCRC basic service for senior citizen includes fact-checking sources, public benefits counseling, and assistance with services or programs.

Many older individuals exist on a fixed income with limited opportunities to socialize. They experience isolation and a lack of a community base. SCRC will enhance the dignity and independance of every individual.

RSVP offers men and women ages (55) and older exciting opportunities for personal development and satisfactory by providing volunteer programs that offer outlet for their energy and creativity while serving in their communities.

Information is the process of providing valid current data/facts to older individuals or a person inquiring on behalf of an older person of available resources, services, or programs in the community.

Referrals are the process of linking, directing, or connecting older individuals with appropriate agencies or community resources to obtain needed help and assistance.

SCRC partners with the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) to offer the Taxaide Program. The Taxaide Program is a free tax preparation program for low to moderate income seniors.
